When I was younger, I used to like Barbies, porcelain dolls and other misc. dolls... and then there was a period that I avoided dolls all together, and then I slowly started getting interested in ABJD.

11, including my mom's dolls that really spend more time with me then they do her.

What was your first reaction when you saw your BJD for the first time?
I thought they were gorgeous... but I wasn't interested in owning one.

Have you shown your doll off at a doll show?
No. But I've shown 'em off at doll meets & anime conventions.

Which do you prefer? Commercial BJDs (such as Kyon customed dolls) or customizing your own BJD?
Commercial, I guess. I love customized dolls... but I failzor at that sort of stuff.

How do you feel about commercial BJDs?
Uh... yay dollz!

Did you create a personality/background for your doll(s)?
They don't have full histories or anything... but some of them have basic personalities and vague backgrounds. tamayaki keeps saying I should give them more character.

What type of relationship do you have with your doll (eg. beloved daughter, friend)?
I'm like the giant roommate. X3

Does your BJD have a nickname?
tamayaki gave Chakri the nickname 'Cookie'. Bernadette gets occasionally called 'Bernie'. Aaaand... I've dubbed Xylia 'Little Blue'.

What special meaning does your doll's name have?
Fallon, Aoife, Edan, Dagan, Gale, and Xylia were all just names that I found off a baby names website and though suited them.

Seth was named after the Ancient Egyptian god (due to his Eye of Horus tattoo on his face - Seth or Set was the god who ripped out Horus' eye).

Chakri was named after the dynasty of Thailand that King Mongkut ruled in... which is significant because he was a special The King and I doll, and that movie was about King Mongkut.

Hikaru was the name tamayaki gave him when she owned him. And I just couldn't change his name after I bought him because he was always Hikaru to me.

Bernadette & Nikki were names my mom picked, since technically they're her dolls. No clue why she picked them.

Does your BJD have a special seat/place in your room? If so, where?
They all hang out on my manga bookcases.

Did you buy a chair specifically for your BJD?
Yeah, they have a chair AND a sofa.

Does your BJD have accessories of his own? (eg. pets, toys, hairbrush)
Yeah... but not a whole lot. Fallon has the most.

What hard to find items do you wish you could get for your doll?
I do sorta wish I could get more ethnic looking clothes for Chakri...

What is the most expensive thing you've bought for your doll?
I don't know. Probably a wig or something.

When you go out, do you take your doll with you?
Only if I'm going out with other doll people.

If so, where have you taken your doll?
Various photography places... restaurants... other peoples' homes.

Is there a regular place you take your doll out to?
Not really. Though I do take them to the grassy area outside our apartment a bit.

If you do take your doll out of the house, how do you carry [him]?
Either like a baby or in their boxes. I don't have carrying cases. :(

When you do take your doll out, is it easy to do or do you find it's more trouble than it's worth?
Taking all of them out is sometimes more trouble... especially since Fallon & Seth together are so heavy. >.<;;

Does your doll have a friend? Do you think your doll wants a friend?
tamayaki's Naoya & zaely's Rylan both seem pretty keen on Fallon. tamayaki's Tsukasa hates Seth (does that count as a friend?). Other then that, they don't seem to have bonded with anybody else's dolls.

If you could build your dream FCS for free, what would it be?
I dunno... I've been thinking that it would be really nice to have another MSD-sized Volks doll... so either a tan F-18 or a tan F-19...

What is your favorite optional head?
I can't say I have one.

What is your least favorite optional head?
Can't say I have one of those either.

What made you choose your BJD out of all the various types?
Fallon was my first, so he was one of those agonized "stare-at-the-site-for-hours". I ended up picking him because he had such a sweet face. Aoife's head came for free with him.

Seth, Dagan, Gale, Chakri were all impulse buys.

Hikaru was a "I-don't-want-to-see-this-doll-I've-come-to-love-go-to-somebody-who-will-make=him-gross" buy.

Edan & Xylia were gifts.

Bernadette & Nikki are mom's.

What is your favorite wig for your doll?
I gotta say, I like Seth's Luts wig the best.

Do you change your BJD's wig often and have you tried styling the wigs?
Not too often. Aoife's gone through 3 wigs. Seth, 2. Xylia, 2. Chakri, 2. Once I find a style I really like on them, it tends to stay.

How many wigs do you have?
Oi. Uhmn... counting time. SD-sized - Fallon's brown, Seth's pink braids, short blue, shoulder-length curly red, long straight blonde, Aoife's wavvy blonde, black braid pigtails. MSD-size - Hikaru's black, Edan's blue/black, Gale's fur wig, Dagan's purple/black. Tiny-sized - Nikki's flyaway red, ringlets red, straight red, blonde curls, Chakri's default evil wig, Chakri's new long wig, Bernie's default, Bernie's curls, Xylia's caramel wig, Xylia's silver wig... *pauses* I think that's all. Sooo.... 21?

How many shoes do you have for your doll? Does your doll have socks too?
Hogod. I'm not even going to try to count all the shoes I've got. I'm going to guess that I've got at LEAST 30 pairs of shoes. And Nikki/Bernie alone have at LEAST 15 pairs of socks. Seth & Fallon have socks too.

What types of clothing does your doll wear? (name in order of favorite styles)
Mostly normal clothes - Seth & Edan are my "punks", Aoife & Bernie are girly girls, Nikki & Dagan are the more tomboy-ish types (even though Nikki loves her dresses) aaand... Chakri in his cute little oriental clothes.

Where do you purchase your BJD clothing?
Most of my dolls clothes were gifts from friends & family who sew.

Do you sew clothing for your doll?
I tried once. Disaster. So now I leave it to the pros. lol.

Do you plan on dressing your doll as an anime character? If so, who?

I've known about them since zephyrussama got her first doll in Nov. '04... and I got Fallon in Dec. '05... so over a year. O.O!

Do you carry your doll around in the house?
Not usually.

Is there a special place in your house that you like to sit with your doll?
Sometimes they hangout on the computer desk if I'm home alone.

What are the comments you have heard in regards to your doll, after others have seen it in person?
I've heard that Fallon looks mean... Seth looks nice... the boys look like girls... they're creepy... one guy yelled at me to "put some clothes on that baby". XD

Does your doll have their own website?
They have this LJ... someday I'll make them a proper website.

What is the color of your doll(s) eyes now? Also give the size of eyes, too.
Since I suck at remembering sizes, I'm just going to do colours. SO NYAR. Fallon has dark grey, Seth has red, Aoife has green, Hikaru has hazel, Edan has blue, Gale has blue (for now), Dagan has purple, Chakri has green, Nikki has green, Xylia has blue and Bernie has blue.

What is your favorite eye color for your doll(s) and why?
I'm fond of all my dolls eye colours.

How often do you change the eyes?
Almost never. >.>;;;

How many different pairs of eyes do you have for your doll?
Each doll only has 1 pair. ^^;

Do you believe your doll has a "soul"?
I always like to believe that toys and dolls that you love deeply have a sort of soul. Much like the stuffed cat I used to drag everywhere with me has a soul because I cared for it so much all these years... I'd like to think my dolls do as well.

Do you talk to your doll?
Sometimes... mostly when I'm photographing them and they don't pose the way I like.

When talking to your doll, how does he address you?
"Toni"... just like everybody else. ^^;

How do men react to your doll?
The men who've seen my dolls seem to think they're odd/creepy... and tend to crack jokes about 'em.

What was your favorite childhood doll growing up and why?
Probably my Barbies. I played with them the most... but I did really love my American Girl doll... and... uh... my PJ Sparkles.

Did you have to sell items from a personal collection to raise money to purchase your doll?

I never spend much on them... most of the stuff they have were gifts. At most, I'd spend 50 bucks on doll accessories (wigs, eyes, clothes, etc.)

Have you purchased something you regretted later?
I almost wish I hadn't bought that wig for tan Lishe... since I don't own a tan Lishe.

Do you like buying clothing sets for your doll?
Uhmn, if I ever bought one... I'm sure I'd enjoy it. X3

How often do you change your dolls clothing?
Whenever I feel they've been wearing the same thing for too long.

If you could take your doll anywhere with you in the world, where would that be?
I'd really love to take Seth to a Volks store.

Have you ever done something to your BJD and felt bad about it? (eg. leaving him naked all night, dropping him)
Not really. I'm nice to my dollies.

What paint brand do you use on your doll?
I don't. They either come with face ups, or my "faceup pimp", zephyrussama does them.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with your doll, what 3 things would you want for your doll to have?
My camera (so I could take some awesome photos), swim trunks for my doll... and a personal jet to come pick both of us up in a few hours. XD

Does your doll have a girlfriend/boyfriend?
Fallon used to... but I fell out of touch with the girl who owned her. Otherwise, no.

Does your doll have siblings (eg. brother/sister)?
Fallon is an only child. Seth has a younger brother & an older brother. And I *THINK* Bernie & Nikki are sisters, but I'm not sure. Otherwise, nobody's mentioned family.

Will you pierce your doll's ears?
I want to pierce Aoife's ears...but I'm scared.

Have you given your doll a manicure? What color?
No. But I want Aoife to have a manicure. T_T

Did you do the esthetic process on your doll?
Nope.

If you could change anything they did with the BJD body, what would it be?
I just noticed recently that the balls that are Chakri's ankles are GLUED TO HIS FEET. T_T I wish they hadn't done that.

Have you sueded and wired your doll?
No... but if I remember correctly, Seth came to me sueded. And Gale is wired - even though I hate it because it doesn't really help him pose and it creaks like crazy. >.<

If your BJD could be friends with any other BJD, which BJD would it be?
I dunno. I think it would be cool if my dolls could befriend "famous" dolls... but I'm not sure what that would entail.

Do you think you'll ever tire of your SD? Why/Why not?
There are periods when I don't do anything with my dollfies (no photos, no outfit changes, etc.)... but I always come back to them. I don't think I'll ever be 100% tired of dollfies. I just love them too much.

Do you plan to get more BJDs in the future?
Oh hell yes.

Very, very rarely.

Does your BJD have a favorite color?
They all seem pretty neutral towards colours except Fallon & Aoife who seem to prefer earth tones, Seth who fancies red & black and Edan who fancies blue & black.

In general, what is your BJDs mood or look?
Fallon is sweet, Seth is a womanizer/manizer, Aoife is a "mother", Hikaru is quiet, Edan is a bit of a rebel, Dagan is a tomboy, Gale is princely, Chakri is silent, Nikki is a play-in-the-dirt-in-a-dress girl, Bernie is a girly girl and Xylia... I dunno about Xylia yet.

Describe your BJD's favorite outfit.
Fallon: knit sweater, jeans, orange sneakers.
Seth: Camo top, red vest, cargo pants, boots.
Aoife: Peasant girl dress, slip-ons.
Hikaru: Has no proper clothes. T_T
Gale: Also has no proper clothes. T___T
Edan: Yuna-esque outfit, boots.

Uh... nope. They don't have middle & surnames... just first names.

Yeah. Although I've stopped going to Arizona meets because of the bullshit... sometimes tamayaki, tasu, zaely and I hang out and dork about dollie stuff.

Let's just say, my mom still things Seth was a gift from zephyrussama...

Do you think of yourself as being obsessive about your BJD? If so, explain?
Not really. I think a lot of people out there are way more obsessive then me.

If the house was on fire, what would you grab first? Your BJD, wallet, clothes or nothing and save yourself?
I'd make sure my kitties were out of the apartment, then I'd grab my dollies (probably my rarer ones first - Seth, Xylia, Aoife, Chakri). My dolls can be replaced... but my cats are actually living, breathing creatures... so they come first.

Did you buy a digital camera only because you wanted to take pictures of your BJD to show off online?
No. Other way around. I bought a dollfie so I could take photos of them and show them off online. X3

I'd probably give my dollies to either tamayaki or my kids (if they wanted them) depending on if I die young or old... >.>;;;
